Cookies and storage
Last updated 26 October 2026
A short, honest list of what this site keeps in your browser and what it loads from elsewhere.
What we store in your browser
Gobookfy does not use advertising or tracking cookies. To work, the site keeps a few small items in your browser's local storage, which stay on your device:
- Sign-in session: keeps business owners and team members signed in.
- Dashboard memory: which of your businesses you opened last, and a pending team invitation while you sign up.
- Working copy and images: a local copy of your page settings and uploaded photos so the editor feels instant and survives a page reload.
These are needed for the service to work, so they do not need a consent banner. Customers who only book an appointment do not get a sign-in session.
Services our pages load
Some pages load content from other companies. Your browser contacts them directly, so they receive your IP address and basic browser details.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on our pages and on business booking pages.
- Google Maps appears on a business's page when the business has turned on the location section.
- Payment pages from Stripe, PayPal or Square open when you pay or save a card with a business that uses them.
- Google sign-in opens if you choose "Continue with Google".
Each provider's own privacy policy applies to what it collects.
Clearing it
You can clear this data any time in your browser settings (look for "site data" or "local storage"). Business owners will be signed out, and the editor reloads your page from our servers.
